Carrie Rebecca Cynkar Solazzo's Obituary
Carrie Rebecca Cynkar Solazzo, 33, passed away January 24, 2018 following a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. Carrie was born April 28,1984 in Gainesville, Florida. She radiated happiness and had a smile that could light up a room whether it be with family, friends, or those she just met. Carrie loved her Florida Gators. She was passionate about gymnastics and cheerleading during her youth in Gainesville. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends, especially at the beach.
Carrie graduated from Buchholz High School in 2002. She then attended The University of South Florida where she achieved her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. Following graduation, she earned her teaching certificate and found her calling as a VPK teacher preparing children for their early education. She inspired and was loved by her students and their families who found her sweet, thoughtful, kind, and insightful.
Carrie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Angeline Cynkar.
She is survived by her father, John Cynkar and stepmother, Marilyn Cynkar; her brothers, Jeff Cynkar and Jeremy (Kelly) Cynkar. She was a loving aunt to Jeremy Jr. and Ashli Lauryn. Other survivors include her grandfathers, Francis Cynkar and Joe Hart Jr., along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of Carrie's life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 4000 NW 53rd Avenue, Gainesville, Florida 32653. In lieu of flowers, the Cynkar Family invites donations in Carrie's name to Stepping Stones Preschool at Trinity United Methodist Church. Although we are greatly saddened by Carrie's passing, it brings us great comfort knowing that her kind heart and compassionate spirit touched the lives of so many.
