Carrie Miranda Schuler's Obituary
Carrie Miranda Schuler, 32, passed away unexpectedly on September 12th, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida. Predeceased by her infant daughter, she leaves behind her mother, Penelope Odell and her partner Graham Ingels of Newtown, CT; her father, John Schuler, of Virginia; her sisters, Deborah Montelli of Fairfield, CT and Jennifer Arias of Gainesville, Florida; their spouses, Thomas Montelli and John Arias; her brother, Jason Hand, from Danbury, CT and his wife Andrea; nieces, Grace and Jane Montelli and nephews, Derek Hand and Alexander Arias, and finally, her faithful dog King.
Carrie was born in Bridgeport, CT, and resided in both Connecticut and Florida where she graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in history and a minor in education. She lived her life with an indomitable spirit, and her endearing personality touched many friends including horses, dogs, and people of all ages.
Carrie’s candle was brief, but its light will continue to overcome the darkness for all those who knew and loved her.
Her family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to High Watch in Kent, Connecticut or Connecticut Horse Rescue in Washington, Connecticut.
The family will receive friends at the Newtown residence on October 1st, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. for a celebration of Carrie’s life.
