Carolyn U. Baggesen, age 62 of Adrian, GA. passed away in the early morning of August 9, 2021 in Vidalia, GA.
Carolyn was born on May 31, 1959 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Carol and Ann Giddens Upshaw.
Carolyn was married to Thomas Gregory (Greg) Baggesen. Greg passed away in 1998. Carolyn and Greg loved to play board games together. She loved to work in her yard and be out in the sun.
Carolyn loved Country music and especially watching CMT videos.
She loved her nephews.
She is survived by her Companion, Jim Hankins; sister, Connie Mercer and husband Danny; brother, Randall Lee Upshaw; brother, Hal Floyd; nieces and nephews, Adam and Scott Mercer, Travis and Cody Upshaw, Christina and Tiffany Belche; great niece, Anna Mercer; great nephews, Thomas Adams and Kayden Mercer.
A Celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held on Friday August 13, 2021 at 1:00pm. in the Chapel of Williams-Thomas Hawthorne chapel. The family will receive friends 12:30pm until the hour of service.
Burial will follow in Hawthorne Cemetery.
