Carolyn A Melvin's Obituary
Carolyn A Melvin, age 74 of Melrose passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023. She was born September 20, 1948, in Gainesville, FL to Hiriam Carlos and Flossie Corbin Amason.
Carolyn worked for Alachua County Schools in Food Service for over 35 years. She liked to sew and enjoyed going to Arts and Crafts shows. Carolyn loved to cook, enjoyed reading and liked to fish. She loved her family more than anything.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, William “Scooter” Melvin; daughters, Desiree Hayes Collins and Deirdre Hayes; son, Cole Melvin; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Carlos Amason.
There will be no services at this time.
