Caroline Judith Burchfield's Obituary
Caroline Judith Burchfield, age 92 of Gainesville passed away Friday, July 19, 2024. She was born February 24, 1932 in Calhoun, GA to Robert Paul and Judith McDaniel Hood.
Caroline loved plants and flowers, she enjoyed getting dressed up and going out to eat and she loved to travel. She was a firecracker!! She belonged to the Red Hats Society.
Caroline worked for the University of Florida Shands Physicians for more than 30 years before retiring.
Caroline is survived by her daughter, Juliet Ann VanLeer (John); granddaughter, Brittney Kenney (Richarde’) and great grandson, Richarde’ Kenney, Jr. and her beloved dog, Socky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Burchfield.
A private service will be held.
