Carole Anne (Willis) Cellon's Obituary
Carole Anne (Willis) Cellon, age 76, passed away on December 29, 2022, due to injuries sustained in a tragic accident. She was born on May 10, 1946, to Dell and Edith Willis.
Born and raised in Gainesville, Carole Anne was a graduate of Gainesville High School Class of 1964. She remained in Gainesville and retired from Energizer Power Systems in 1999.
Carole Anne loved to celebrate and decorate for any holiday or celebration. She loved her family and friends without limits but most especially her grandchildren.
Carole Anne was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jim Cellon and her parents, Dell and Edith Willis.
She is survived by her daughter Christina Waterhouse and her husband, Brett; son Christopher Cellon and his wife, Tiffany; sister Nancy Ingalls; mother-in-law Mildred Cellon and her father-in-law D.M. Cellon, Jr.; brother-in-law, Don Cellon and his wife Tootsie; granddaughters Breanna and Megan Waterhouse; grandsons Cody and Garrett Cellon; niece Kim Briede and her husband, Steve; nephews Paul Cellon, Alan and Roy Mizell.
The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the physicians and nursing staff of the Trauma ICU at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital for the wonderful care given to our mother.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 11:00 in the Chapel of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown, 404 North Main Street. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. For those who wish in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
