Carol L. Rosenboom's Obituary
Carol L. Rosenboom, age 80 of Gainesville passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015. She was born September 28, 1934 in Peoria, Illinois to Lee C. and Nellie Hines Forney.
Carol was a member of Westside Baptist Church and Jabez Sunday School class. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and bird watching.
She is survived by her husband, John R. Rosenboom, sons, Rodney L. Rosenboom (Jennifer), Scott R. Rosenboom (Kim), sisters, Donna F. Snow, Kay C. George, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 on the way.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street, with Jim Mixson and Pastor Ernest Dew officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
