Carol Ann Cook Garrahan's Obituary
Carol Ann Cook Garrahan, age 73 of High Springs, Florida passed away Friday December 13, 2019. She was born on August 1, 1946 in Corning, New York to Leo Guy Cook and Dorothy Jean McKibben.
Carol loved to crochet and travel. She loved her social media friends, especially on Pet Society and Farmville. Most of all, Carol loved spending time with her grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, William and Carlton Coates; sister, Barbara Stewart; and grandson, Grant Lanier Peacock.
She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Jim) Moothart of Oregon, Lynnette (John) Scott of Gainesville, Sarahphine Doddato of Gainesville and Stephanie (Sam) Lee of High Springs; sisters, Mary Coates and Leona English; brothers, David Coates, James Cook, Ronald Cook, and Leo Cook; grandchildren, Jonathan Gunn, Jordan Scott (Lianna), Tyler Moothart, Tarrah Moothart, Taran Moothart, Donovan Lee (Emily Klys), Dominic Lee, Josh Dowda, Tyler Dowda and Danika Lee; and a great granddaughter, Adianna, on the way. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Minnie.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 18,2019, at 11:00 a.m. at New Oak Grove Baptist Church 18100 NW 262 Ave Alachua, Florida with Pastor Terry Elixson officiating.
