Mrs. Carol Ann Fox's Obituary
Mrs. Carol Ann Fox, 76, longtime resident of Clermont, Florida, and most recently of Archer, died Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in the North Florida Regional Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Fox was born in Orlando, Florida, on March 15, 1947, to the late Glenn and Edna Nelson. She lived in the Orlando area for many years before moving to Clermont. Mrs. Fox was employed for many years as a secretary for the Pine Hills Elementary School. After the passing of her husband of almost 60 years in 2021, Mr. Norman W. Fox.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Archer, and had attended the Ferndale Baptist Church in Clermont. Mrs. Fox enjoyed flower arranging and crocheting.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryll (Dale) Addington, of Clermont, and Cindy (Eddie) Nirenberg, of Spring Hill; one son, Michael (Tammy) Fox, of Archer; four sisters, Shirley Harrell of Clermont, Betty Tuten, of Melbourne, Nancy Hall, and Marilyn Nelson, both of Deland, and one btrother, Bill Nelson of Clermont; Nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 11:00 A. M., in the First Baptist Church of Archer, with her son, Rev. Michael Fox, church pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A. M. in the church. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Clermont.
