Carlise Monet Saunders' Obituary
On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, Carlise Monet Saunders, peacefully surrendered to the will of God. Carlise was born August 13, 2002, in Gainesville, Florida.
She was converted at an early age under the ministry of Bishop Leo Robinson, Sr. and First Lady Susette Robinson of the Powerhouse Family Worship Center. Carlise was a member of the youth praise dance team. She was raised in the faith of Jesus Christ and her light shined brightly during her short time on this earth. She graduated from Gainesville High School in the class of 2021 and was an avid lacrosse and volleyball player during her middle and high school years. Carlise enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and she had a compassionate heart for those she knew and loved. Carlise always provided words of encouragement that lifted the hearts and spirits of those around her. Carlise had a strong relationship with the Lord with whom she conversed daily.
Carlise was a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, a lineage society. Her love for animals was unmatched and she never saw a dog that she didn’t want to pet or bring home. Carlise was a dedicated Gator football fan, never missing a chance to talk about the merits of her team. Beyond everything Carlise cherished her relationship with God and her family; she prayed for everyone she interacted with, and she loved deeply and earnestly.
