Carl and I hit it off pretty well when we met approximately 15 some years ago because he and I were pretty plain spoken and we appreciated that with each other. Carl and Mae joined Caesarea Baptist church shortly after and was one of the biggest help to me as a pastor. He wanted to be involved in every activity whether singing, seniors activities, teaching, deacon, bulletin printer, VBS, maintenance and church improvements. You name it he was involved! Including being a friend to me! I saw great positive changes in his life over the years. He was a great blessing to me! Carl was one man I could trust completely. He showed he loved Jesus! I will miss him!
