Burton Eugene Oliver Sr.'s Obituary
Burton Eugene Oliver, Sr., age 89 of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 in E.T. York Care Center. He was born October 8, 1924 in Oak, Florida to Burton C. and Clarice Dolly Boone Oliver. He was a WWII veteran having served in the United States Army Air Corps.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 1, 2014, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street. A Graveside Inurnment will follow at 3:30 p.m., in Greenwood Cemetery in Ocala, with Rev. W.L. Godwin officiating. For those who wish memorials may be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606.
