Brenda Mcullers was a Geometry student in my class at Buchholz. she was an excellent student. She would come in for help before school. Her question usually was the one home work question that she just couldn’t get. She was always respectful. She limited her time with me.
At the same time,Bob Williams was in one of my math classes, Geometry I think. He never asked for extra help. We faculty knew that he and Brenda were sweet on each other.
I was able to keep track of those two because I was an usher at Westside Baptist. His dad, Gene Williams was head usher. We seated everyone and there were only four of us for 52 weeks of the year. This is how I knew that they got married.
Brenda and Bob and others like them made teaching a worth while profession.
