Brandon Kyle Wagner

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Brandon Kyle Wagner of High Springs, FL, a loving husband, devoted father, and avid baseball enthusiast. Brandon, 52, fought a valiant battle against Colon Cancer but sadly succumbed to the illness on April 12th, 2024. Brandon is survived by his mother and stepfather David and Cheri Johnston, his wife Cristin (Hart), his children; Alan Wagner, Abbie Wagner Mckaig, and Amanda “Mandy” Wagner, his stepson Braton Hart, and his sister Ashley Feit (Wagner). He was predeceased by his father, Donald Wagner. Born on May 28th, 1971, Brandon was a cherished son, brother, husband, father, and friend to many. He will be remembered as a man with a steadfast passion for life and an unwavering commitment to his family. Whether cheering on his favorite team from the stands, traveling the world, skiing down a mountain or biking around his beloved Florida trails, he showed everyone what living really means. Brandon's greatest joy in life was his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Cristin, whom he celebrated life with and loved deeply. His best friend and ex-wife Amy Wagner (VanLeeuwen), together, they built a loving home for their three children, and set an example of true partnership. His children were his pride and joy. He was a dedicated father who never missed a game, or milestone, always cheering them on with unwavering enthusiasm. Brandon will be remembered for his kind heart, outstanding character, and inspirational strength. He dedicated the last few years of his life to Colon Cancer awareness and being an example of doing the things that matter to you, even in the face of adversity, and was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was one of the good ones, who touched many lives and will be deeply missed. A funeral service will be held on Sunday April 21, 2024, at 11:00 am at Williams Thomas Funeral Home 823 N.W. 143 St. Newberry Fl. with a reception to follow. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the funeral home from 2:00 pm to 4:00 p.m. The family encourages charitable donations to be made in Brandon’s name to Haven Hospice at www.beyourhaven.org/donate
