Bonnie Ison's Obituary
Bonnie Ison 90, of Gainesville, FL passed away Monday, October 20, 2017 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. Bonnie was born November 25, 1926 to Columbus L. and Mary Ann Knight Smith in Chattanooga, TN. Bonnie loved spending time with her family and children. She enjoyed gardening, Bingo, and animals. She was an accomplished pianist and member of the Homeland Gospel Singers quartet. She attended Crossroads Baptist Church.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela J. McCoy. She is survived by her son H.L. (Barbara) Wright; grandchildren, Bonnie Kayleen Dorsey and John Lamar Wright; great grandchildren, Emily Stone and Samuel Dorsey.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00AM at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 N. Main St. with Pastor Ray DeBusk officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00AM.
