She brightened my days and years at the library. She was a real friend.
Bobby was always so kind to me and the ruffians I ran with. She was a great person to talk History with. I was thrilled when Bobby gave me wonderful research references to pursue at the Library. I offer Peace, Love, & My Condolences To Lisa and Paul.
Bobby was generous and charitable to many historical organizations and a helpful volunteer. She was great at collecting and organizing her family's history. Her library skills helped her excel in that, and I always thought that someday she might organize my library and collections when I got therm straightened up and ready for public viewing. I enjoyed attending history events with her which ended with COVID.
Bobby was a most generous, enthusiastic, knowledgeable guide to a brand new library employee--me--a great many years ago. Her kind brilliance was a perfect entree to "her" worlds of history(local and global) and comprehension of the power of story and picture. She shared her expertise so naturally, with every interaction with Bobby one learned something engaging and surprising. Bobby Ruth was a jewel, an inspiration, a constant delight, and a friend. I cherish her memory and her ability to savor both chocolate and coffee to the absolute blissful maximum.
Bobby Ruth was my favorite Aunt on my mom's side. Hilarious, smart as a whip, free-spirited and as giving and caring as anyone had the capacity to be. Many childhood memories are of her presiding over family gather chaos at the lake. May her memory be a blessing. Much Love, Sean Caskie
