Bobby Lamar Fletcher's Obituary
Bobby Lamar Fletcher, of Lena, Mississippi, left us on January 3, 2023, to start his garden in heaven. Bobby was a lover of birds, history, southern desserts, and gardening. A proud American who served 8 years in the United States Air Force and 28 years in the United States Postal Service.
Bobby is preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Ellis, Joe Keith, Otho Neal, and his sister, Patsy Ann (Harrell).
Bobby is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Barbara, his daughter, Stephanie (husband Allen), his granddaughter, Sam, and his brother, Jerry Wayne (wife Sandy).
Bobby was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, and we will forever be thankful for the laughter, support and love he brought into our lives.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. in Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the National Parks Service in his name, tending to a garden, or feeding local birds.
