Billy M. Blanchard's Obituary
Billy M. Blanchard (70), of Hayti, Missouri, passed away in his home, on December 17, 2023, with his wife by his side. Billy was a wonderful father, brother, husband, cousin, grandfather, and friend. Billy was an entrepreneur with many types of jobs the last being an owner of a vehicle service station in Hawthorne, FL before retiring to spend his days with family.
Billy is survived by his wife Cindi and two siblings, his sister Janice and brother Jimmy, and life-long friend O.L. Kimes. He is also survived by his sons Ryan and Travis with their wives and children as well as Scott and Chad Weeks with their wives and children. With a total of 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Bill was most known for his sense of humor and most would call him their friend. He was very smart and could fix anything. He was an excellent problem solver. He would always do whatever he could for those that asked and many a time rescuing each and every one of us from something. He loved being on the water and enjoying the outdoors. You could always find him in his shop tinkering on something for someone to make all our lives better. Billy is missed and will be remembered in all those little moments where we would call him to ask for his help, tinkering, or just a chat.
Billy’s family will host a funeral service on Wednesday December 27, 2023 at 2pm at the Williams Thomas Funeral Home in Hawthorne, FL.
