Dr. B was my doctor growing up and I loved him more than life. He was the most gentle, patient kind man in the world. He never ever rushed you in and out of his office. His staff was wonderful to and were there as long as he was before he retired. I remember when he said he was retiring and who he referred me to see. I told Dr. B now if I don’ like this new doctor I’ll be coming to your house since I know where you live.
Both of my girls went to Dr. B and loved him to. Yes he always had those tootsie roll pops. He tried the new kind one time I think they were like the charm ones with gum in the middle. I had to let him know we weren’t having those and wanted our tootsie pops back. He laughed and of course brought them back.
There was no finer man on this earth than Dr.B.

Dr. Brashear was not only my doctor when I was little, but my moms doctor as well. I can still remember the smell of his doctors office, the one that was by AGH. He had that huge sail fish on the brick wall. His office was the last door on the left going down the small hall. He ALWAYS had his Tootsie pop drawer (if you were or weren't good 🤭). I remember several years later, he was a judge at my science fair. I was so happy to see him. I remember every time we drove past his house in Gainesville, I'd always have to say, that's Dr. B's house. He had a classic VW beetle. He was a great man ❤️🤗🇺🇸
Dr. Brashear was our family doctor growing up until we all journeyed away from Gainesville. Probably the kindest Doctor I have ever known. Heaven got a stellar professional and friend to all. God bless his soul and may God wrap his family in his arms and provided warmth, Grace and healing during your time of sorrow, Vernon McDaniell
Dr Brashear was our family doctor 55 years ago... I have always thought of him fondly. He always dealt with me in such a sweet and caring way. He was a blessing. I’m sure he will be missed by his loved ones.
My mother’s cousin will be dearly missed by all branches of the Brashear Family. With his passing on the weekend of our family reunion in Kentucky, I can only imagine the reunion he had with my mama and all of our loved ones who’ve passed.
To Glenna, Daphne, Annette, and Bruce we are sending loads of love from your Kentucky family. 🙏🏻❤️✨ Missie
Dear Brashear family, I simply adored your father, always ready with a kind word and a smile. It was so nice having all of you just across the street when we moved to Gainesville. Please let Glenna know how much we're thinking of her, too. Much love, Cindy (Purdy) Bertelsen and Paula Purdy
Dr. Brashear was kind, soft spoken, extremely smart, a brilliant diagnostician, and possessed vast depths of wisdom way beyond his years. He could heal his patients’ body, mind and soul. Sincere condolences to his family.
