Beverly Roper Jones' Obituary
Beverly Roper Jones passed away peacefully on March 9, 2016 with her husband Will Jones by her side. She is survived by daughter Adrienne, son Derek and his wife Anastasia Ford Jones. She is also survived by sisters Adelle, Donna, and Lizbeth and many relatives on both sides of her family.
Bev was a Gainesville resident for over four decades and loved the Gators. She taught in Florida public schools for 42 years, was a mentor teacher and vice president of the Alachua County Education Association. Involved in local politics and bettering her community, she also loved to garden and spend time with her family.

A celebration of her life will be held at 4:30pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 N.W 143rd Street Newberry, FL 32669.
