Betty Ruth Seabolt's Obituary
Betty Ruth Seabolt, age 78 of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 in E.T. York Care Center. She was born August 11, 1935 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Sam and Laura Pell Dooley. A member of Christian Life World Church, she loved serving in her church. She was very faithful and joyful and never met a stranger. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Laura (Terry) Shipley of Elizabethton, TN, Sam Seabolt of Gainesville, FL, Lottie Stephens (Bill Miller) of Gainesville, FL, Florence “Flo” Seabolt of Hawthorne, FL, Bill (Sasie) Seabolt of Hawthorne, FL and Mary Seabolt (Jim Hutcheson) of Gainesville, FL; 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street, with Pastor Robin Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 4, 2013, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
