Betsy Ann Goodman passed peacefully November 6, 2020. Born November 8,1959, in Hyannis, MA, she will celebrate her 61st birthday joyously with her dear Lord in heaven. Betsy is predeceased by her proud parents, Francis and Irene Read Obituary
Betsy was one of the most wonderful people I have ever known. She was very, very special to me. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I am sure her arrival in heaven livened things up. I am sure she has them all dancing and having a good time. I hope to see her there some day.
My deepest condolences to the family. I met Betsy right around the time she started her career at the University of Florida. I have seen her on and off thru the years, always such a joy to chat with and a consummate professional. I would always make it a point to see her when I would go recruiting to UF. She will be dearly missed, she was a wonderful person and Florida Gator. God bless.
I am so saddened to hear the news about Betsy. I worked near her office at UF for 12 years, and she was always incredibly kind to me. I will remember her positivity and her energy. I send my deepest condolences to her family. Robyn LeBoeuf
Dear Peppy, I am sad to hear about your passing. My favorite childhood memories include you in them. For instance, coreographing our “Stop In The Name of Love” song and dance at our street barbecues. Skiing and snowmobiling in NH. Playing Follow The Leader down the slopes. Of course, you were the leader. Dressing up and putting on shows in your basement. You are still beautiful as always. Dear Family. Betsy was a classmate of mine at Barnstable High School (Class of 1977). I am so very sorry to learn of her passing. Our high school graduating class had 357 members, so I think we all knew each other to greater or lesser degrees. I have good memories of Betsy as a kind person with a ready smile. Betsy was such a joy to be with. She will be greatly missed but always remembered for our fun times together.

Betsy was a very dear friend of mine for fifty-five years (known to many as Peppy) Lahteine Goodman. I have to continue calling her Peppy because that’s how I knew her. Peppy was always there when I needed or wanted someone to talk to no matter what time of the day. She was a great listener! We grew up just five houses away from each other in Centerville and spent many hours and days together playing as children. She was the sister that I never had growing up. Words can’t express how much I already miss her. Buddy, Kaylyn, Victor, Deb, Drew, Valerie, extended family and friends I am very sorry for your loss.
What a shock to learn today of Betsy's passing. Our hearts go out to Buddy and all of her family. "Full of life" is a cliché that doesn't quite cover Betsy's personality. We will miss her very much.
