Bernice Byrd's Obituary
Bernice Byrd, died peacefully on Sunday, August 20, 2017. She was 82 years old. Bernice was born in Brownsville, Texas on November 5th 1934 and was raised in Kentucky. She later lived in Indiana and then moved to Florida. Bernice was a good wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Mitchell Byrd; 2 children, Teresa Geer (Lannie) and Ronnie Byrd (Mary); 3 grandchildren, Kevin (Leah), Justin (K.D.) and Alanna and 4 great grandchildren, Kaylin, Jacob, Masen and Harper. Many loved nieces and nephews and their spouses also survive her.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street. Burial will follow in Forest Meadows East Cemetery, 3700 SE Hawthorne Road, Gainesville, Florida. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 24, 2017, 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
