Bennett Edward Beckham's Obituary
Bennett Edward Beckham, born on March 20, 2025, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL passed September 30, 2025, at 9:30 p.m. from complications due to prematurity.
He was born four months early, weighing only 1lb. 4.5oz. he spent his whole life in the NICU.
His mother, Baylee Gilkison and father, Troy Beckham knew from the moment they got the confirmation of the pregnancy, whoever is to be born is the biggest miracle and blessing they could ever receive. Little did anyone know how many hearts would be touched by his presence of the lesson he taught, although he could not speak.
He is survived by his mother and father; five siblings, Mia Thomas, Jensen Thomas, Juliet Thomas, Layla Beckham and Tauni Bochette; He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins.
Funeral services for Bennett will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home, 404 North Main Street, Gainesville. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery, Windsor, FL. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, October 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
