Benjamin Andrew Ethan Thomas White's Obituary
Ben White passed away on November 8, 2014. He was born in Gainesville, Florida, on July 6. 1989, attended J. J. Finley Elementary, Westwood Middle, Gainesville High, and Santa Fe College. He is survived by his mother Marsha, father James Darcy, brother, David, sister-in-law Christine, and niece Julia Kate as well as Auntie Margie (Bob), Uncle Dana (Kathy), and Uncle Carey Lee (Juaneva).
Ben’s passions included reading, geography, writing, reptiles, and discussing world events and every other topic imaginable. His quiet, sensitive, gentle nature drew many friends to his side. Ben had a strong sense of fairness and justice and he verbalized his thoughts on these subjects in an articulate and forthright manner. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Ben’s life, will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 5 to 7 P. M., in the Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown, 404 North Main Street, with a special time of sharing to begin at 6:30. In lieu of flowers, please consider performing a random act of kindness to a stranger in Ben’s memory.
