Patty, Barbara E. passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 in Gainesville, FL.
Barbara was born in Muncie, IN to the late Clyde & Dorothy McKinney. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Fred L. Patty, an older brother Bobby McKinney and an older sister Theresa Tucker.
Barbara was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves a legacy of memories and love to be cherished by her three children; J. Patty (Retta) New Albany, IN, Cherie Bierman (Tony) New Albany, IN, and Joe Patty, Gainesville, FL. Five grandchildren; Hayley Abell (Mike), Brendan Patty, Taylor Patty, Brian Bierman (Brenda) and Brady Bierman. Three great-grandchildren; Anna and Jack Abell and Breslin Bierman. Sister-in law, Dixie Fine (Ron) and brother-in-law Roland Patty (Karen).
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street, with Pastor Ryan Fields officiating.
Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association or to a Charity of your choice.
