I was sorry to see that Bobbie had passed away.
I met them in the late 1970's when Al had his Architectural office. Al was the Architect on numinous Volusia County projects where I was the Owners Rep. I would call his office and disguise my voice, so she wouldn't know who I was. Only when she would ask, "Whom may I tell him who's calling?", would I reveal who I was. I fooled her about 95% of the time. It was a challenge and a fun game.
We all became very good friends, both professionally and personally, and spent many hours enjoying each others company. I would spend a lot of time with Al in the woods or on our projects together. My first wife, Sharon, and I would go have dinner with them at some gourmet restaurant or just go over to their house and enjoy each others company.
It was an Honor and a Privilege to have known both of them. They are both in my thoughts and prayers every day. Now that they are both reunited together again, may you both Rest in Peace, my friends.
