B. Jane Withey's Obituary
B. Jane Withey, 90, passed peacefully at home in Gainesville, Florida on February 15, 2024. Born in Atlantic, Iowa on February 5, 1934 to parents Budd (Murl) and Pearl Clark. Jane relocated to the Gainesville area in 1962, living in Gainesville and Hawthorne, Florida.
Jane was proceeded in death by her parents, husband of 64 years, K. W. (Bill) Withey, Jr. and brother James L. Clark. She is survived by her sister, Phylis Brownsberger, daughters, Susan Morrow(Pat), Longwood, Florida, Elizabeth Withey, Gainesville, Florida and Mary Guest (Jim), Pensacola, Florida. Grandchildren Craig Spears, Jonathan Kinser, Jennifer Smith, Katie Hamrick and four great grandchildren.
Jane worked outside the home periodically, but her joy was being a homemaker, wife and mother.
A private service and celebration of life was held for immediate family. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Jane’s memory to the Foundation of Community Hospice and Palliative Care.
