Audrey Lane Hartley's Obituary
Audrey Lane Hartley, 86, resident of Gainesville, Florida, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in Shands Hospital at the University of Florida following an illness.
Mrs. Hartley was born on March 6, 1930 in Jacksonville, Florida, daughter of the late William and Gladys Lane. She wed Mr. Wesley Gilham Hartley in 1950 and they were married for 65 years. She loved quilting, decoupage, working with stained glass and etching her own personal designs. She had a passion for sharing her love and knowledge of her crafts with all who were interested.
Mrs. Hartley was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and William Lane, and by her daughter, Diane Hartley Patterson. Survivors include her husband, Wesley Gilham Hartley; son in law and his wife Patrick and Amanda Patterson; nephew, William Lane and four grandchildren, Noelle, Grant, Luke and Elizabeth.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Spirit of Truth Church, 2251 NW 41st Street, Ste E, Gainesville, with Rev. Theresa Wesly officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM in the Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Spirit of Truth Church.
