Anne Tabor's Obituary
Geneva “Anne” Tabor, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and woman of faith, went home to be with the Lord she so lovingly served on June 28, 2026. Born in Hubball, West Virginia, on October 31, 1941, as the first daughter of George and Georgia “Mae” Kiser, Anne’s life was rooted from the very beginning in family, faith, and the deep ties of home.
She spent 64 years beside her husband, Dennis “Duane” Tabor — a partnership that was nothing short of a testament to love and devotion. Together, they built a life centered on faith and community. Anne stood faithfully at Dennis’s side throughout his ministry, pouring herself into the congregation and the people they served. Her greatest joy in that work was the children. As a leader of youth ministries, she opened her heart to hundreds of young lives, guiding them toward faith and a deeper understanding of the Lord. The seeds she planted will continue to bloom for generations.
Her family was the true love and joy of Anne’s heart. She was a fierce and unwavering lover of those she called her own, always placing them above all else. Her daughter Dena (Brian), bonus son Justin (Caryn), grandchildren Alec, Austin (Augi), Andrew (Erica), Adam, and Abby, and her precious great-grandchildren Jackson, Ellie, Carter, Hudson, Chloe, and Kai — each of them knew without question that they were cherished.
Anne was preceded in death by her brothers Harold, George, Willis, Doug, Jerry, Johnny, Bill, and Marshall, and her sisters Jennifer and Joanette, as well as many other beloved family members. She is survived by Dennis, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of family and friends whose lives are richer for having known her.
Anne Tabor did not simply pass through this world — she poured herself into it. May her memory be a blessing, and may those who loved her find comfort in the faith she so joyfully shared.
