Anna Borders' Obituary
Anna Borders, age 85 of Hawthorne went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 19, 2021. She was born September 17, 1935, in Charleston, West Virginia to Oswald and Claudia Beatrice Holston Karnes.
She was a Christian woman and a member of Ochwilla Baptist Church. She loved her family more than anything. Anna enjoyed bowling and was good at it. Anna and William lived in the Orange Heights area for more than 60 years.
She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 66 years, William G. Borders; sons, Terry Borders and wife Ellen, Kim Borders and wife Judy and James Borders and wife Mae; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 27, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Hawthorne, 301 South at Lake Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11: 00 a.m. at Ochwilla Baptist Church with Pastor Gerry Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in Saluda Cemetery, Orange Heights.
