Angela Tungpalan Salvador Amigo's Obituary
Angela Tungpalan Salvador Amigo, age 77 of Gainesville, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at E.T. York Haven Hospice. She was born June 1, 1939 in the Philippines to Eduardo and Juliana Tungpalan Salvador.
She was a teacher in the Philippines and after retiring she moved to the States and worked as a caregiver. She was a member of One Way Filipino Christian Church; she loved to garden and enjoyed cooking. She was a very loving patient mother and grandmother, always putting her family first.
She is survived by her children, Ellen Amigo and Narciso (Eurydice) Amigo of Gainesville; two brothers, Gerardo Salvador Sr. of San Jose, CA and Honorio Salvador of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren, Angel Ruth Amigo, Angelie Roshan Amigo, Mark Aaron Amigo and Matthew Andrei Amigo.
A Service will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street, with Pastor Jun Evangelista officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
