Ana Yolanda Blanco Wohl died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 after a long illness. She was born on the Isle of Pines, Cuba in July 1944, Yolanda became a force to reckon with. We met in 8th grade and dated in high school. She went to Read Obituary

My condolences to you and your family on the loss of Yolanda.
You can imagine my surprise when I saw your names on the Church retreat last year and when I went I looked all over trying to figure out which person in the group was Yolanda. I saw her sitting outside during our break and walked up to her and asked her name. She looked at me strangely and I told her my name and we spent every break renewing old times from our days at Notre Dame Academy. I remember her as our beautiful ballerina and she remembered me and coming over to my house to play/practice on my piano. Sorry my heath has prevented me from contacting you all. Deepest regards.

We went to different schools together. After meeting at St Mary's school in eighth grade we we each went to separate Catholic High schools Notra Dame and Curley. Dating occasionally through high school she went to Philadelphia to work and study while I went to the Air Force. She returned to Miami February 1966 and I went back there in March. We dated a few times and I knew she was the one. I asked her to marry me on our third date. She accepted then reneged. She was afraid to make a mistake. I pursued her still and she accepted again in July of that year. We were married in December of that year.
