Alvina W. Klosek's Obituary
Alvina W. Klosek, age 93 of Newberry, FL (formerly of Sarasota, FL) passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 at the E. T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, FL. She was born May 13, 1924 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Alvina was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Joseph S. Klosek, and grandson, Joseph A. Klosek. She is survived by her children, Joseph A. Klosek (Sharon) of Hendersonville, NC, Nancy C. Walker (James) of Olympia, WA, and Patricia A. Shedlock (Edward) of Newberry, FL; sister, Helen Kowalewski of Baltimore, MD, seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date in Baltimore. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90 Blvd, Gainesville, FL 32606.
