Alita R. Feindt's Obituary
Alita R. Feindt, age 74 of Melrose, Florida passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at her home. She was born August 18, 1942 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Fred W. and Helen Ruth Lipe Russell. Alita worked as an elementary school teacher and retired from Jesse Bobo Elementary School after working 23 years in District 6 public schools. Her passions in life were teaching, gardening, her family and Jesus Christ. We will miss her greeting of “Hey Darling”.
Alita is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charlie Feindt of Melrose, FL; daughters, Lisa A. Feindt of Melrose, FL and Debra Feindt Hardin (Barrett) of Port Charlotte, FL; sister, Sally Campbell of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Reece, Hayes and Bry Hardin, 3 nieces and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Russell.
A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date at First Baptist Spartanburg.
