Alisha Grace Grubel's Obituary
Alisha Grace Grubel, age 20 of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014. She was born November 9, 1994 in Gainesville, Florida. Alisha was a graduate of Newberry High School where she played in the band and was a cheerleader. She continued her education at Santa Fe College pursuing a degree in accounting. Besides going to school full time, Alisha was employed by AMEC in Jonesville as a lab technician. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her parents, Kerry and Karen Grubel of Gainesville; maternal grandmother, Barbara Grodewald; maternal grandfather, Paul Grodewald; paternal grandparents, John and Judy Grubel; sister, Casey R. Grubal and cousins, Courtney Ray and Hailee Grodewald.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., in Trinity United Methodist Church, 4000 NW 53rd Avenue, with Dr. Dan Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Newberry Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, December 22, 2014, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street.
