Alicia Berti de Jaimes' Obituary
In loving memory.
Alicia Berti de Jaimes, 95, peacefully passed away at home on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in Gainesville, Florida. Alicia was born in Bocono, estado Trujillo, Venezuela on January 17, 1926, to Arturo Berti and Virginia Marquez. In 1948, she met and married Jesus E. Jaimes (Chucho) and had 2 children, Vernon and Alicia.
Alicia is survived by her children: Vernon Jaimes, Yahaira Maduro de Jaimes, and Alicia J. von Lehe; grandson: Michael E. von Lehe; granddaughter: Alicia C. von Lehe; and two sisters: Maria Ignacia (Nacha) and Celina.
Alicia was known for being very intelligent, beautiful, and elegant. She always dressed in style, and was sweet, kind, and in good spirits. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her in Venezuela and the United States.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 1738 W University Ave. with Fr. Raguiel Rodriguez as celebrant.
