Alice Eileen Beckham Carnes' Obituary
Alice Eileen Beckham Carnes, aged 68 of Hawthorne passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Moultrie Creek Nursing and Rehab Center in St. Augustine, Florida with her daughter April by her side. Mrs. Carnes was born on July 30, 1953, in Gainesville, Florida to Dewey and Catherine Beckham.
She grew up in the close-knit community of Beckhamtown among many extended family members. She graduated from Hawthorne High School in 1971. Mrs. Carnes was a housewife and also worked as an EMT Paramedic and a nurse. She also became proficient in sign language to become a supportive, positive influence for her daughter, April. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Carnes is survived by her daughters, April Bosshard (Heath) and Sabrina Olender (Matt) and her grandchildren, Wyatt Donahue, Brennan Gelman, Holden Bosshard and heather Bosshard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her parents, Dewey and Catherine Beckham and her brothers Harvey Beckham and Kenneth Beckham.
A graveside service will be held at Providence Cemetery in Windsor, Florida of Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.
