Our condolences to Bev, Janet, Howard, Stephen, & the Sherman family. We were very sad to hear about the passing of Alex recently, but seeing his pictures brought back fond memories of the many conversations we enjoyed over the years. With Alex's engineering background, we pondered how to "solve" the city of Gainesville bio-mas power plant issues. As you would expect, Alex had a solution that would work! He always had an idea or thought about problems that needed solving, and he always had a positive attitute that anything could be accomplished. He often mentioned the accomplishments of his family and wanted to help them whenever he could. It's hard losing a husband, father & friend, but we all have such wonderful memories to remember a wonderful man!
