Yes, Chapel time was very special for Pastor Alan -- and I also enjoyed this time with the Preschool children. I would greet them at the door as they came over to the sanctuary, stayed to sing with them and learned all the hand motions to their songs. One thing that really touched my heart was when Pastor Alan would get down on his knees following Chapel and give high fives and hugs to the children when they went back to their classrooms. Then, I would tell him: "Thanks for finally giving a message that I could understand!!" :) Then, we would have a good laugh.
As ever, MJ
Dear Linda,
As one of your TWU family, I'm thinking of you and sending love and peace from North Carolina. I'm so sorry for your loss and grateful to Noralyn for sharing the news with more of your colleagues so we all may keep you close at heart.
Sincerely,
Heather McKay
For Linda, Austin and Loren, and the rest of the family, parishioners of Abiding Savior, and friends, I ask that God continues to give you strength and increased faith in Him. You are loved. And I am so thankful that Pastor Alan was a good and faithful servant. I enjoyed having him for a boss during my time at Abiding Savior, and thankful for his pastoral counsel, and happy to have him in the choir. I’m also thankful for the wild and wonderful mission trip to Guatemala. Blessings, Stephanie Smith - Former Music Director and Organist
We will forever be thankful to Pastor Struckmeyer for his love and support during some of our most turbulent times of our life!! Pastor Alan was that beam of light and ray of hope for our daughter Taylors pre-mature birth. We had to make the difficult decision to have our daughter baptized in the NICU and Pastor Alan was there for us. He touched us all in a way that fulfilled our lives for many years to come!! Taylor survived by the grace of God!! This year our little girl will graduate from Temple High School! Thank you Pastor Alan for being there for us!! We thank God for you and we pray for your family!!!
Forever Grateful,
Sean, London, Taylor, Erin, and Christian Yepez

I will always remember the happy and joyful times Pastor Alan and I shared at Abiding Savior. He was truly an inspiration to me. His spirituality shone through everything he said and did. The times we shared will always be among my fondest memories. Rest in Peace.

We will sincerely miss Rev. Alan. He was a good fellow and easy to talk to. Rev Alan baptized my youngest son, Nate. When I was a nurse quite a few years ago, I loved having little pep talks with him in NFRMC's hallways when he was visiting the patients. He was always very kind. Heaven gained an angel. Condolences to his love ones.

Fondly remembering him from our seminary days. Blessed are those who die in the Lord.
Pastor Alan Struckmeyer, thank you for all of your guidance, and helping with baptizing both of my girls.
You helped prepare the foundation of Christ in me, as you had helped prepare the ground for a wonderful family in Guatemala. Now, it is time for you to raise the roof with our Father in Heaven, as you did in Guatemala, too. Until we meet, again.
Lots of Love 💗💗💗
