Ada Loraine Ellis' Obituary
Loraine Ellis, 91, went to join her Lord and Savior on December 5, 2013 with her family beside her at Haven Hospice in Gainesville. Born in Forsythe, GA, she was raised in Atlanta and moved to Florida in 1964. She retired from Florida Farm Bureau in 1984 after 21 years of service.
Preceding her was her youngest son, Bill Ellis. She is survived by her children Gene Turbyfield (Dot) of Gainesville, Brenda Matchett (Mike) of Leesburg, Pat Sparks of Gainesville, Debbie Fancher of Oxford, AL, Deloris Markwich (Gary) of Gainesville, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street, with Rev. Calvin Carr officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606.
