We had a lot of fun together with you, me, Duke, and Dewey as young children, whether at your house in Iowa or Florida, or at Papa's house. As we grew older, we did not stay in touch, but I thought of you often, wondering how you were. Dad would keep me updated on what you were doing and how you were. I will miss you cousin, and regret that I did not seek you out more than I did. Charlie Akers.

Dear Captain Ron,
What a good man you were, and still are, as life is eternal and everlasting. I have told you this before, that you remind me of my Father, Don, and that is a great compliment. Everyone who met him, even if it was just a brief moment, liked him. You are the same way, you are a good person Ron. I don't know anyone who didn't love you. I will miss you, and I know that you have a lot of other good friends that will miss you as well. I know your parents, who were proud of you, will miss you exceptionally. It will only be a moment in time before we are where you are now. The Joy Absolute! I know you are feeling that! I will look forward to the time we meet again. I also just wanted to say, that I am so sorry for the years of your suffering, you are a good man, and that was proven in the way that even through the pain, you had it in your heart to be kind to others. I remember the first time I met captain Ron at bobs it was my 13 the birthday and he sang me a happy birthday with his guitair. I miss those good old days and wish we can go back in time and relive them He will always be in my heart and may his soul travel to many beautiful worlds upon.stay strong family., we will all be with him one day in heaven. I love u captain u were an awesome man all around , and I love u Liz always in my prayers. That's why we have u savor every moment we have and send positive love to everyone cuz we never no when are time comes. Love u guys.
