Celebrate Women 2020

Celebrate Women 2020 invites you and your organizations to participate in our month long celebration of the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage and of the role that Gainesville played in the birth of the modern women's movement. We invite all Gainesville, Alachua County area artists, organizations, institutions and groups to program activities and events for the month of MARCH 2020 that celebrate women and are open to the public. Let us put your events on the March 2020 calendar of speakers, music, theater, readings, art shows, films, dance, discussions, presentations and other celebrations of our histories and achievements. The organizing committee will act as a clearing house to help schedule, publicize and widely distribute the calendar. NOTE that on Friday, March 20th, Paula Poundstone will perform at the Phillips Center and on Saturday, March 21st, we will be celebrating with a parade to and rally on the Bo Diddley Plaza.
