I just heard today of Becky's passing. I was heart broken and flooded with memories growing up with her on Dogwood Lane in Claxton. It was a small street but there were a dozen or more boys and 5 girls. Even though I was 2 years younger than her, she always included me. I spent countless hours and days with her and her family growing up. We were thick as theifs and held our own against those boys, and she taught me that. Although we have had little contact since she moved to Florida, I will always love her and she is so special to me. As I read the other post, it warms my heat because she is the same person she was as a child.... persistent, humourous, brave, kind and full of love for God, her family and friends. I'm posting one of the few pictures I have her as a young girl and homecoming queen for the Claxton Blue Devil's. Don't let the tiara fool you, she was a tough cookie butalso kind and giving. Even as a teenager, when she got her license, she would pick me up and let me ride with her (what 16 year old wants to be seen with a 14 year old☺️). I was blessed to know her and her wonderful and kind family. My heart goes out to Mark, her children, her grand children, her brothers and her father. Rest in peace with God my dear friend.
