I’ll never forget the first time I met Nate. Gretchen and I lived in our first apartment together during college, and he came over. Coolest guy I ever met. I’m heart broken over this loss. He will be missed.
I have many happy memories of good times with Nate who was my roommate at U. Of Illinois.

Nate was an inspiration to Pam and I. He never complained about the cards he was dealt - he just got after it each and every day. He was tough - a real fighter - and we were blessed to know him, live close to him, and call him "friend." We grieve his departure, grieve for Gretchen, and pray for her each day. Nate taught us to live and love life, embrace it to the fullest, and to "keep pushing."
