I was blessed to work with Dr. Stirna at the V.A. Ocala Clinic in 1998. His love for GOD radiated throughout the clinic as many times I witnessed him praying with his patients. The fun side of working with Dr. Stirna showed when he said it was time for some hard thinking-he would put on an old pair of thick crooked eyeglasses, which made me giggle a lot! He has received his eternal reward! May GOD bless and comfort Dr. Stirna’s precious family! ❤️. Bertha
John was godfather to our son Kevin Funk at his baptism when Kevin was 2 years old. Afterwards he and Gini hosted a dinner reception at their home to celebrate.
My family, The Kuen’s, lived across the street from there home in Narrowsburg and my mom used to be a babysitter or nanny helper to Gini and the kids. He surely will be missed!
Dr Stirna was the family doctor of the Robert and Helen Dexter family and all 5 children when the Stirna family lived in Narrowsburg NY. He took care of us all with great skill and kindness. Our condolences to the Stirna family.

Blessed to have known M.J. and Gini for about 8 years from prayer group at Holy Faith. You knew his Faith, Family, & Friends were his life. He never had anything bad to say about anything. Truly one of the kindest, smartest, caring, & funny man I have been blessed to have known. I also feel blessed to have spent more time with both of them in the last two years. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Prayers for Gini and the entire family.
