My dearest brother, your leaving has left such a hole in our hearts. Love endures and we will always have the memories of your incomparable laugh and appetite for life.I enjoyed how you loved my kids. The huge water balloon war that left balloon fragments in the yard for a year or more.You were famous with all the neighborhood kids.All the trips to the beach and henna tattoos we got together.I am glad you found happiness with Sheila and the many good times you had with her. May God hold you close until we are with you once again.

Uncle Mark, you taught me what it means to be an Uncle. I loved every moment I was able to spend with you, and I will miss every minute. You had to leave much too soon.
I will never forget all of the times that we shared, our beach adventures and movie nights, eating out and take out pizza. Enemy at the Gates, and Saving Private Ryan, to name just a few. I will miss your laugh, and your funny mannerisms and nicknames for places. I have so much to say, and I wish I had more time to say it in this life. I would give anything to go to the beach one more time, and eat oysters with you. I miss you dearly.

I was saddened to hear of Mark’s passing. It was an honor to meet Mark. My best friend often spoke of him as being a father figure. He was always keen on being present for important events in her life and often made sure the family was being taken care of. Based on the times I spent with him and the Joseph family my first impression of Mark, was that of jolly man who often laughed and smiled, reminding me to enjoy life. My fondest memory of him, is of him spoiling the family dog Stevie with candy and often worried about Stevie’s health. He possessed a free kind spirit who loved to travel, was caring and dedicated.
