Chris's death is stunning news to his YMCA family. His workouts where intense but he always had time to engage in critical thought. He was very passionate about life and never afraid to express his love for his family. His career path is reverence deserving, he believed in earning everything. God bless his family. Chris, you will be missed! Your energy will never be forgotten!

We had the pleasure of working with Chris on the purchase of our home in 2006. We still fondly recall going to look at houses with a couple of his children in the backseat of his mini-van. The experience was great from start to finish. We received our annual Christmas card which included pictures of his family over the years since. We would bump into him on occasion around town and he always remembered us. We are still in a bit of shock over his passing. We are praying that God will send comfort and peace as only He can to his family.
Chris, as a great person, husband and father, you will be missed by many! Someday you will be joined by your family...stay patient. Bob Bitterli
