George (Butch) Stevens, Jr. passed away peacefully on April 19, 2022 at Tidewell Hospice in Venice, Fl. George was born and raised in Miami, Fl and is the 3rd of five children. He served in the United States Air Force in Hawaii where he met his wife E. Yvonne Stevens of 56 years. He and his wife settled in Florida. George loved to fish and golf. George, Yvonne and business partner Donald J. Bugos owned a telecom business in Gainesville, Fl. For 32 years. George is survived by his wife, Yvonne and his, children Philip W. Stevens, PhD, and his wife, Jackie Stevens, Carla Y. Johnson and her husband, Graham Johnson and 5 grandchildren Hailey Stevens, Logan Stevens, Chloe Johnson, Griffin Johnson, Jake Johnson. There will be no services at this time.
