I was shocked to hear about Dell's passing. He was a good guy and a great supporter of the RV industry, the Florida State RV Association and the National RVDA. He was a joy to work with as a board member and Chairman of RVDA.

Such a stand up man!!! I loved working with him doing the financing for his customers at his RV Dealership. He always had that friendly tone in his voice and made you think he was a friend from the get go! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

We are so very sad about Dell. He was such a huge part of Region 7 and when I became a member of Region 7 some 14 plus years ago it was Dell that mentored me and guided me. We put our heads together to decide how to handle any problems and issues, and with Dell's experience and common sense he helped guide our Region and myself.
We loved him and will miss him dearly, we will also miss his knowledge and love of the RV Industry. His infectious smile could turn any bad moment into joy!

Joy and I are heartbroken at the loss of our friend and traveling companion. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. Our hearts go out to Shirley , the kids and the whole Sanders family. We have enjoyed every minute of our times together and his loss will leave a void that can never be filled. But we sure had a hell of a ride over the last 35 years. We wouldn't trade a minute of it!

Dear Shirley and Family,
I’ll miss Dell. I enjoyed getting to know him as he took on all the roles leading to Chairman of the RVDA Board of Directors. He was funny, and he was a great leader. Dell was very passionate about the RV industry and the associations that hold it together.
One of my favorite memories of Dell took place at the big meeting where the industry selected the firm that put the Go RVing program on the map. The speaker for a big contender for the account was touting a list of successful marketing campaigns to woo the audience. When he explained how their marketing campaign had successfully returned Corona beer to a good reputation after rumors flourished about brewers tainting the beer … he paused. And in that pause, Dell said “Well that’s what the lime is for!” And the audience and speakers belly-laughed for the next five minutes straight. Did I mention that Dell was funny?
The photo gallery you put together is a very beautiful tribute to Dell. Thank you for sharing that for all of us to see.
My heart is breaking for all of you. Dell was a good, good man … gone way too soon. My prayers are with you.
